The way things are

Thank you everyone for all the kind words and emails after my last post. While I still stick by what I said, I perhaps should have not verbalized quite the way I did. I really hate people thinking something's wrong, when in reality I'm just accepting "the way things are."

I think it has an awful lot to do with the perfectionist in me. I've been one for as long as I can remember. In fact I gave myself actual ulcers in high school because of my perfectionist tenancies. Took the better part of a year to diagnose, but man was that no fun.

Sunday's runaround town outfit which mostly consisted of watching TV at home.

I've actually wanted to post this (and more) since Sunday night, but stupid Verizon DSL accidentally turned off my account -- they gave someone the same account number who changed their service and things were all messed up. I sure hope this doesn't effect my credit/bill, but I already know it's going to. GAH.

Yeah, so no home internet since Sunday night. Not getting it back until Tuesday. Yes, Verizon Home Services are THAT awful. Don't get them. Ever. I mean, I'm keeping them because I HAVE to (thank you DirectTV), but I spent OVER (literally) 13.5hrs on the phone with them before they even figured out what they did wrong to my account. It was UNREAL. 

And now I STILL have to wait for my services to be restored when it was their fault. This makes no sense to me whatsoever. Worst company ever. #epicfail Oh wait, no, Sprint was worst. But Verizon Home is coming dangerously close to stealing that title...
