Takuyo Hand-Painted Scarf Giveaway

Ladies, prepare to swoon over this one. Whilst surfing around Etsy (as I often do), I stumbled across one of the coolest shops I've seen in a while -- hand-painted scarves. Did I even know there was such a thing?

But now that I do, I think it's FABULOUS. And what does it a take to make fabulous silk scarves? Nothing less than a fabulous artist.

Enter Takuyo.

Takuyo lives on a remote Hawaiian island (jealous much? I know I am), which inspires her art. As she's said in a previous interview:
My focus is on painting flowers on silk. I love silk painting. I hand paint floral art on all different kinds of silks. I make my floral art into wall hangings, canvas art, and even silk scarves. Silk's luster and softness remind me of a flower's petals. I love orchids, poppies, roses and all types of flowers. I paint flower portraits. Each flower has a presence.
She's such a talented artist, and her scarves can work for all budgets. And I mean that. Starting at $19.99, you can actually afford to fall in love with more than one, all the while knowing you're buying hand-painted mini-masterpieces.
